Fundraising for Harvey has been an ongoing thing, starting with a Fun Day on 27th August 2005 which was held in Harvey’s home town of Louth. This was followed by a similar fun day on 4th September in Sheffield.


A pigeon auction was held where her majesty the Queen donated a bird to be auctioned after hearing of Harvey’s plight.


Harvey’s mum’s cousin Jane ran the London marathon to raise money for Harvey and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Various fun runs, raffles etc have all helped to raise money for Harvey’s future, and after hearing Harvey’s story Steve Greave raised funds by running from Louth to Dinnington nr Sheffield (76 miles). He was joined for the last leg of the run by Sheffield United goal keeper Paddy Kenny.

A yearly golf tournament has been set up at Louth Golf Club, and this has been well supported in the 3 years it has been running.



Clinton Woods world light heavy weight boxing champion has been a big supporter after visiting Harvey in hospital and inviting him to watch him training for a world title fight.


Darren (Harvey’s dad) and brother in law Gavin did a parachute jump to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital ICU as a way of saying thank you for saving Harveylife’s .
